To view your payout history, follow these steps:
Log in to the Loomis—Pay Portal.
Navigate to Finance > Payouts in the sidebar. Here, you'll find your payouts for the current month. To view payouts from previous periods, select a different month from the calendar in the top right corner.
The payout page displays the total payout for the current month, a summary of sales, fees, and other amounts affecting the total, a list of transactions for that payout period, and a list of deposits made into the account on each payout day.
To export a payout report to CSV or PDF, click 'Download' at the top right of the payout detail page.
Payouts
If you accept American Express (Amex) or process refunds, you might notice a range of dates in the “sales date” column, even when there hasn't been a weekend or bank holiday. This is because the Amex card scheme follows a different payout flow, and it may take up to 7 days for a payout to reach your account. Sales from January 1st, for example, are paid out in separate batches over the following days, from January 2nd to January 7th.
Refunds
The same applies to refunds. Refunds processed on a Monday will appear in your payout within 7 days of the transaction date. You can view this on the payout page. For instance, a refund or an Amex transaction made on March 7, 2024, would be paid out by March 15, 2024. To see more transaction details, click on the payout.
Each payout contains funds from several sales days. Payouts may be further delayed due to weekends and bank holidays.
Portal Instructions
A sales day, in relation to payouts, runs from 01:00 am to 01:00 am the next day during winter, and from 02:00 am to 02:00 am the next day during summer. This is due to the cut-off times defined by our acquirer. Therefore, if your business operates after midnight, the payout might include sales made after midnight.
Receiving the Payout
Payouts will appear on your payout page around noon the day after they're processed, except for weekends and bank holidays. In these cases, you'll receive one payout that includes sales made on the day prior to, and sales made on the weekend and/or bank holiday. Please note that we must adhere to bank holidays that affect our acquirer, as well as our local markets.
To see your payouts, navigate to Finance - payouts on the Loomis Pay portal.
Understanding Transaction Fees
To view the transaction fee per transaction, click on the row for each payout. Here, you'll see every card transaction included in that payout, as well as the transaction fee that has been deducted.
Understanding AMEX Fees
The fee structures for American Express (Amex) and Visa/Mastercard are different. Visa and Mastercard impose lower interchange fees, while Amex charges higher fees. As a result, processing an AMEX card is more expensive than other card networks.
