Here's how to fill in the Excel Template:
ℹ️ The fields 'Name', 'Price', and 'VAT Rate' are mandatory.
Begin by adding the name to all your products. This is a required step.
Optionally, you can add a description of the product.
If you have products with barcodes and are using a barcode scanner, input them into this excel. Connect your barcode scanner to your laptop to get the barcode into the excel and linked to your product.
If you wish to use stock keeping, fill in the SKU. A SKU is a scannable code that helps you track your inventory.
Enter the price of the product.
Input the VAT Rate.
If you're using stock keeping, fill in the cost price.
Specify the product folder where you want this product to be. If you're using a barcode scanner, you don't necessarily have to put it in a product folder, but it's your choice.
Choose the color you want for the product button in the POS.
Determine which product group this product should belong to.
Decide if the product should be part of a modifier group.
Avoid using the finance account.
If you want sales reports sent to you in an SIE-file, use the Finance account. If you want it connected to Fortnox/Dinero/Economics, you need to add that product to an account in Fortnox.
