Advanced event settings

These are advanced settings, and it is important that you are well-versed in what each of these settings affects if you are going to deviate from the default.

  • Event type: This shows the type of event you selected when you originally created the event. This cannot be changed.

  • The KUD report is mostly used in Norway, so that one you can ignore.

  • Show end time: Set to ON if you want to show when the event ends in the information provided to the customer. This is OFF by default.

OFF: Wednesday, June 1, 2022 8:00 PM
ON: Wednesday, June 1, 2022 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

  • Send QR code: If you turn this off, the customer will only get a booking confirmation and no ticket.

  • Unique QR code for each participant: Set to ON if the customer should receive as many tickets (QR codes) as the number of people. Set to OFF if the customer should receive one ticket (QR code) regardless of the number of people.

  • Print QR code when selling in the POS: Choose if you would like to be able to print the ticket in the POS or not. This will follow the rule before if you have toggled on or off the Unique QR code per participant.

  • Allow new bookings after the event has started: You can decide if you would like to be able to sell a ticket to ongoing events or not. If you toggle this off, the POS will search for the next possible event.

  • Product group: Select product group, this determines which account the revenue is posted to according to the chart of accounts. The choice cannot be changed after the event has been published.

  • VAT rate: Select VAT rate, this determines which account the revenue is posted to according to the chart of accounts. The choice cannot be changed after the event has been published.

  • Email: Enter an email address if you want to receive a copy of all order confirmations sent to customers. If you have chosen for the channel to send Inquiry, this email address is also used.

  • Q&A: This you will have to create before (this you do under Booking–Settings–Q&A in the menu) and here you just choose what questions and answers you would like to include for this event.
