An event is used for selling and planning tickets, rentals and bookings in the checkout and booking module. This guide explains how to create a new event.
To create an event, log in to the administration panel and go to Booking - Events.
Once you have created any events, you will be presented to a list of all events, both published and drafted, here.
You can make a copy of an existing event. To do this, click on the event row and click on the button “copy” in the top right corner. Note that it will only copy the text and setup, but not the pictures.
To create a new event, click on the “New event” button in the upper right corner.
Choose between ticket, rental or entrance.
Ticket: This is the most used setting that you should select for concerts or events tickets, guided tours and courses.
Rent: If you are to rent of a cabin or room for a day or longer.
Rental does not use time, but counts all bookings from 12:00 to 12:00 the following day. The price is stated per day. See separate guide for rental.
Entrance: Only to be used for entrance tickets. You can filter these out in the event calendar and hide it if you don’t wish to see it in there.
