  2. Connect the power cable to the printer.

  3. To start the printer, press the power switch that is located on the left side of the printer.

  4. Download the "Sunmi Assistant" app from App Store/Google Play store on your phone.

  5. Register a new user in the app, follow the instructions provided in the app.

  6. Fill in the company name & store name (This is not linked to Loomis Pay and will not be checked).

  7. Go to "Device" at the bottom of the screen and press "Add". Select "Cloud Printer" and follow the steps displayed on the app.

  8. When you see a guide in Chinese, press "Skip".

  9. The app will then continue to guide you to pair your phone with the printer. If the printer doesn't show up automatically in the list of devices, you can press and hold the "Bluetooth" button on the back of the printer for about 2-3 seconds.

*Note that you must have Bluetooth turned on in your phone and that Bluetooth is enabled in the app's settings. (The app should have asked for this approval previously.)

Next, you should be asked to select which Wi-Fi the printer should be connected to, then all you have to do is enter the password and the printer should be connected. You should then see a blue light illuminate on the front of the printer under the cloud icon.

Your printer is now ready for use.

Troubleshooting

Nothing is being printed

Printer is connected by cable

Whenever a printer stops printing, its usually because the printer has lost its connection to the Internet, in most cases this can be resolved by simply rebooting the printer.

Should this not resolve your issue, try connecting the network cable to another port in your router.

If the issue remains, try rebooting your router.

Is this your first time using the printer?

Is the receipt from the printer showing "None", "0.0.0.0" or "192.168.192.168" as the IP-address? This means the printer is missing a connection to the Internet - try rebooting your printer, and if that does not help, please follow the steps for installation again.
