From April 1st 2026 the VAT for groceries with original VAT of 12%, will be lowered to 6%. This does not include food sold in restaurants (however takeaway is included). Due to this you will have to update the VAT on your products before you start selling on the 1st of April.

PLEASE NOTE that if you have an integration with an accounting system, remember to go in and change your account plan.
